As the NewGel+ sheeting, strips and shapes are worn over your scar, they begin to collect body oils, dirt and dead skin cells. Without proper cleaning, this build up reduces the ability of the scar product to stick to your scar. 

You can extend the life of your adhesive scar treatment products and protect your investment by using our REFRESH foaming cleanser!

Step 1: Prepare the Cleanser

• Shake the bottle gently before use to ensure ingredients are well-mixed.

Step 2: Apply the Cleanser

• Dispense a small amount of the foaming cleanser directly onto the sticky side of the adhesive scar treatment product.

Step 3: Gently Clean

• Using your fingertips, gently rub the cleanser in a circular motion over the sticky side to remove body oils, dirt, and dead skin cells.

Step 4: Rinse Thoroughly

• Rinse the product under lukewarm water until all the cleanser is washed away, ensuring no residue is left on the surface.

Step 5: Dry Completely

• Place the cleaned product on a clean towel or drying surface with the sticky side facing up. Allow it to air dry completely before using it again. Avoid using any towels or cloths to dry the sticky side, as fibers may stick to it.

Step 6: Store Safely

• Once dry, place the product back in its original packaging or a clean storage container until it’s ready for use.
